The 4th ray word of Power is composed of 4 words with 15 letters or sounds This one-pointedly asserts the fact that the fully conscious soul and personality unite with the Monad via the projected antahkarana. The value of the first word of the fourfold phrase, the "two", is "4", because (T=2 + W=5 + O= 6 = 13 =4).

The fourfold phrase of the 4th Ray word is composed of 15 letters or sounds. The [RAN] value is "6", again serving to link, in our minds, the 4th Ray Word with the 6th ray. The number six is the value of space and the perfect body or form of divinity Let me now explain the geometrical forms of the 4th ray path based upon its dual sacred cipher, the "25".

The first number of the 4th ray is the "2", or the or the binary, The symbolism of this is simple to grasp and its significance will become immediately apparent. The Duad is the imperfect state into which the First Manifested falls when detached from the Monad. The "2" indicates that the Square - (the 4th ray) - is only a secondary perfection because it relates only to the manifested planes. The Duad is ever the connecting line between two points. Here, it stands for and indicates that which is unreal.

In Esoteric Philosophy, the world of Substance and Matter is one of separation, illusion, reflection and duality. In the Universal Symbolism of the numerical alphabet of Truth, the "2" is the origin of Evil, differentiation, contrasts and discord. In its lower aspect, the binary, beyond all other digits stands for the passive evil principle - Matter. Truly, the Binary is the number of Maya, - illusion.

The Duad best represents that which is double, false and contrary or opposed to the One Reality. On the form side of life the Binary creates the opposite conditions of cold and heat, night and day, dampness and dryness, sickness and health, error and truth, male and female, etc.

It is the figure of the sacred binary which best represents the substance principle, Maya and the Great Illusion. The clue to the whole problem of pain and suffering is contained with the form of the Great Binary Body. In this vein, it is the chief number of dissonance and indecision as it embodies the principle of conflict - the opposition between the pairs of opposites. On its lower side then, it indicates that which is incorrect, inharmonious and out of tune, the cause of war.

In its highest aspect however, the "2" signifies the Wisdom and the Love which illuminate the lower "four". In this sense, the "2" is the esoteric cause of the cosmic marriage of Spirit and Matter based on the love of the Celestial Logos. On the higher spiritual plane, "2" sounds the note which brings release which establishes harmony on the buddhic plane. It is the Great Binary Body that embodies the capacity to suffer and the hatred of causing pain. Its figure the potency which brings about trial, producing conflict in relationship.

The figure "2" best represents the ability to choose and make choice, and the power to demonstrate discrimination. The Duad concerns the relation of the Knower to the Known and of the Self to the not-self and is the cause of objectivity, evolution and the differentiation of time and space. As a universal symbol then, the Binary Body makes apparent the distinction between Spirit and Matter and Good and Evil. Next, comes the second digit "5", The geometrical figure of the "5" is the symbol of Man; God, the man of the Heavens and Man, God on Earth. The "2" and the "5" combined represent Man, the Logos conscious of duality and the path between good and Evil. Added together, the dual cipher of the 4th ray produces the sum (2+5=7), seven.

These numbers offer mathematical proof of the philosophical truth that Man is truly the manifested Logos in both its aspects - good and evil. Evil is therefore, one of the supporters of the Manifested Universe, a necessity for progress and evolution as night is necessary for the production of day and Death for that of Life - so man may live forever. Ultimately, the harmony of the universal septenate is reached when the spiritual intuition, symbolized by the two, synthesises everything that has been achieved through the activity of the five-fold form life and sensory apparatus. The ultimate seven of full beauty, harmonization, blending, fusing and illumination is attained through conflict, the "2", and discrimination, the "5". The "2" stands for the feminine and passive, hence the desire to let things be, to rest, the negative tamasic urge.

On the other hand, in equal proportion, it is rajasic activity. In its highest sense the "2" stands for the beauty won through the dual conflict. In other words, it represents perfect blending and the resolve to harmony and synthesis. It is the intermediate, the bridge. It is the beauty born from the throes of constant pain and suffering which eventually brings about right human relationships and the universal spirit of Goodwill. Two brings together the opposites in intelligent unity. The "2" and the "5" are beauty and unity, attained through conflict. Wisdom, the "2", entailing control of knowledge, the "5", is the power to create forms.

The Master Dual cypher of the fourth Logos stands for the conscious control, the "5", of magnetism, the '2". Or again, the "5", is seen as representing the mathematical exactitude of the mind which develops the intuition, symbolized by the "2". It is the "5" which is the producer of the quality of organization through the medium of form. Its geometrical figure for the complete illumination of the mind and embodies the power of building and holding matter in coherent forms through the application of consciousness.

The pentagram is the universal glyph of clear and coherent intelligence, sentient consciousness and insight. It is also viewed as the combination of the energy of Divine Love and Wisdom in action, the Duad and Triad combined. Five is, therefore, above all other numbers, instructive and embodies the power of interpretation. Digit "5" is fluid while "2" is inclusive.

The "5" represents the correctly organized form and as well stands for the creation of the coherent form life correctly bonded under the divine design of the beauty of the Logos. dual cipher "25", blends all into one function related unity with a sense of beauty, melodius harmony and creative aspiration. The unfoldment of the beauty of the Celestial Logos is represented by the "2", while the "5", stands for the mental discrimination required to do so.

Therefore, the duad and the quinary combined demonstrate together as the rapid grasp of mental truths. They are the coordinators of the diverse into the homogenous. Digit "2" stands for the magnetism which governs the synthesis of the many into unity. It stands for the intuition as it works out through group activity.

Dual "25", brings order through beauty, harmonious vibration and rhythmic adjustment. The two figures are the Sacred Bodies that produce the organization of the Logos through the medium of form with mathematical exactitude and hold hid the secret of beauty in manifestation. Essential refiners and the producers of perfection within the divine form, together they preserve the true pattern of the magnetized form of the Logos.

The dual figured body of the fourth Logos is the light-carrier and instills in all forms the quality of love, beauty and harmony. Magnetized forms are the transmitters of love and light. The "2, and the "5" together, in their highest aspect, symbolize the synthetic comprehension of the Plan. They represent the Love and Intelligence of the 4th Logos perfectly blended. Together they show us that there is no beauty without unity, without embodied idealism and resultant symmetrical unfoldment. It is their energy which brings about the beauty of those living forms which embody the divine Ideas of the Creative Logos which are seeking expression.

Dual cipher "25", in its highest spiritual aspects stands for the tolerance, compassion, unity, impersonality, inseparableness and universality of the 4th ray Logos.

 

ATREYA, the Heart, Star IV in the Great Bear

This paper's focus is on Star IV, Yellow ATREYA and its correlations to the Blue Logos, the cosmic logoic Heart center of the OAWNMBS.

The cosmic proposition I lay upon the group table this morning may be expressed thusly:

Star IV, in the Great Bear, the expression of the Brahmanical Rishi ATREYA, and is the expression of the 4th "Cosmic" Ray, the heart center within the sevenfold Head center of the OAWNMBS.

Under the Law of Correspondence and Analogy therefore, ATREYA is the "Master" star Of the Heart Center and the Ruler of 4th Ray Monad of the BLUE Logos, Who is Himself the expession of the 12 petalled cosmic Logoic heart center - one of the SEVEN CONSTELLATIONS.

I remind you that D.K. has clearly stated without qualification on many occassions: "Our solar system is one of these seven constellations." (D.K.) [EPI333]

 

As you know, we must note the idea of twelve in connection with three cosmic logoic etheric centers. I proposition the following:

1. The higher head center............(the 12 constellations)

2. The secondary head center......(ATREYA)

3. The heart center......................(SOL)

 

The Great 4th Ray Triangle:

Star IV.

A T R E Y A

the sacred number of the 4th cosmic ray.

Note: the phonetic pronunciation, if we add an M=4 it is identical to [M] Atreya (Maitreya, the Christ) and in this case it refers to the 4th ray Monad of the extra-cosmic Christ.

The name of [SOL], is the "BLUE" Logos. significantly, the word BLUE correspondingly contains four sounds which equal number 4, the number of the 4th Great Ray.

The GREAT 4th ray Word of Power correspondingly has four words: TWO MERGE WITH ONE".

The first "two" sounds of the first word, the "two", are the "t", or "2", and the "w", or "5". In this, once again, we see the sacred "25", because opening the 4th ray word of power itself is its own sacred dual cipher, the "25", the prefix to all 4th ray periods.

DK> "The evolution of the Son, or the cosmic incarnation of the Christ, is of immense importance in the plans of the Being greater than the solar Logos, HE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID. The animating principles of allied constellations and systems watch the progress of the evolution of the Son with keenest attention."

The BLUE LOGOS

Monad..........Ray IV....extra-cosmic.

Personality....Ray II....systemic.

It must be remembered that the dominating ray, the outstanding influence in our solar system, is the great cosmic second Ray of Love-Wisdom, a dual ray, - that is, a ray combining two great cosmic principles and energies. It is the ray which governs the "personality" of our solar Logos, if such an expression may be used, and (because it is dual) it indicates both His personality and soul rays, which in Him are now so balanced and blended that, from the angle of humanity, they constitute the major ray, the one ray. This major ray determines both His quality and His purpose.

Every unit of life and every form in manifestation is governed by this second ray. Basically speaking, the energy of love, expressed with wisdom, is the line of least resistance for the manifested lives in our solar system. This ray qualifies the life of all the planets, and the attractive magnetic love of God pours through His created universe; it emerges in the consciousness and determines the objective of all evolving forms. Each human being, as a whole, therefore, lives in a universe and on a planet which is constantly the objective of God's love and desire, and which constantly (as a result of this love) is itself attracted and attractive. For this we do not make adequate allowance. Teachers, parents and educators would do well to recognize the potency of this ray force, and trust to the Law to make all things good. [EPI335]

DK> It will be apparent, therefore, why it is the energy of the fourth ray which is related to this Law of Sacrifice, and why in this fourth planetary scheme and in our fourth globe, (the Earth globe) so much emphasis is laid upon this Law of Sacrifice, "the Law of those who choose to die." The fourth ray [92] of conflict (conflict with a view to eventual harmony) is at present not one of the manifesting rays, yet - in the light of the larger cycle - this ray is a major controlling factor in our earth evolution and in the evolution of our solar system, which is one of the fourth order. The realization of this may indicate why our little planet, the Earth, is of such apparent importance in the solar system. It is not simply because we choose to think so and thus feed our own arrogance, but it is so primarily because the fourth ray of conflict and this first law are - in time and space - dominating factors in the fourth kingdom in nature, the human kingdom. Our planet, the fourth in the series of divine expression with which we are associated, has a peculiar relation to the position of our solar system in the series of solar systems which constitute the body of expression for The One About Whom Naught May Be Said.

DK> Law 4. Here we have the angel with the flaming sword turning in all directions. This symbolism is held true in the Bible where the Angel guards the treasure, and drives man forth in search of another way of entrance, thus forcing him through the cycle of rebirth until he finds the portal of initiation. This portal is occultly regarded as freed from the intervention of the sword as man has developed the ability to soar and mount as an eagle on wings.

These seven laws can be worked out along the line of correspondences. It will be found that the energy of any particular center and that of any one law can be brought into line with each other.

Law Four: Ray IV. Heart Center.

It might be said that the effect of the Principle of Conflict, operating under Ray IV and controlled by Ray II, will be - as far as humanity is concerned - to bring about right human relations and the growth of the universal spirit of goodwill among men.

Only the most benighted and uncouth of thinkers would fail to see that these two results of the conflict, engendered at this time, are the two most desirable factors for which all men of goodwill should work. The inflow of energy into humanity at this time is all in favor of such efforts, and the Principle of Conflict has worked so effectively that all men are desiring harmony, peace, equilibrium, right adjustment to life and circumstances, and right and balanced human relations. Initiation 4. Renunciation. Heart center. 4th ray. Buddhic plane. Crucifixion. Sacrifice. Harmony.

 

The history of ATREYA, the "Master of the Heart", the pale yellow star is occultly significant. With the Hindus Atreya is "born from brahma's eyes", one of their Seven Rishis. The Vishnu-Dharma said that it ruled the other stars of the Bear. According to the Puranic stories, Brahma went into deep meditation for several thousands of years, at the termination of which a drop of water fell from his eyes which took the form of the sage, Atri. Soma, or the Moon,(4th ray) was born from this sage and his wife Anasuya .

 

The Arabic name for ATREYA is Megrez or Al-Maghriz, the "Root of the Tail" or "The insertion-point" of the Bear's tail Ursa Major.

The Great 4th Ray Rishi ATREYA is the "intersection" point wherein the three "Triadic" stars of the Handle join with the four stars which form the cup, or square of the Quaternary.

In other words, in relationship to the FOUR Words of Power which construct the 4th ray word of Power, "two merge with One", we see the clear symbolism of the two separate units, i.e., the Triad and the Quaternary joined at the midpoint, the 4th point, the intersection point.

Significantly, ATREYA, is he faintest star of the Big Dipper, and, as just stated is in the Dipper's middle, linking the handle to the bowl, and linking Ursa Major's tail to the Bear's hindquarters.

The blue Logos is "one of the seven constellations" and the smallest one from out of the seven. It is therefore fitting and in keeping with DK's statements that ATREYA, the corresponding Master star in the Head, is the faintest star in the Great Bear.

 

DK> One of the truths less recognized, yet withal of equal importance, is that the entire solar system equally revolves upon its axis but in a cycle so vast as to be beyond the powers of ordinary man to comprehend, and which necessitates mathematical formulae [TCF1084] of great intricacy. The orbital path of the solar system in the heavens around its cosmic center is now being sensed, and the general drift also of our constellation is being taken into consideration as a welcome hypothesis. Scientists have not yet admitted into their calculations the fact that our solar system is revolving around a cosmic center along with six other constellations of even greater magnitude in the majority of cases than ours, only one being approximately of the same magnitude as our solar system."

Once again, in reference to the seven stars of the Great Bear, keep in mind what H.P.B., wrote: "The first 'seven stars' are not planetary. They are the leading stars of seven constellations which turn [EA656] around with the Great Bear (S.D. Vol. III, 195)

And, D.K says:

"... the energy of the lower six centers:

1. The throat,

2. The heart,

3. The solar plexus,

4. The spleen,

5. The organs of generation,

6. The base of the spine,

are - in due order according to a man's ray and subray - transferred into the correspondences within the head center. These seven head centers are the reflection in the microcosm of those "mansions prepared in the Heavens" which receive the sevenfold energy of the monad.

These are the chambers prepared by the lower energy which are to be the recipients of "soul or the higher psychic energy."[TCF865]

The seven stars in the constellation of the Great Bear are the correspondences to the seven head centers in the body of that Being, greater than our Logos. Again, two other systems, when allied with the solar system and the Pleiades, make a lower quaternary which are eventually synthesized into the seven head centers in much the same way as in the human being after the fourth initiation. 2. The solar plexus. (Orion)

3. The heart. (Sol)

4. The throat. (Pleiades)

The sevenfold head center in its turn finds ultimate expression in the gorgeous twofold center above the top of the head and surrounding it. (Sirius, the AJNA center, and the 12 constellations of the zodiac, - the 12 petalled highest head center of OAWNMBS.) Equally so, beyond the above named constellations is still another cosmic center. The name of this center is one of the secrets of the final initiation, the seventh. (THE UNKNOWN WHEEL OF PARABRAHMAN] These are the only correspondences that may as yet be imparted. What lies beyond the solar ring-pass-not may be of intellectual interest, but, for the purposes of microcosmic evolution it is a matter of no vast import.

In connection with the etheric centers, we should note the fact that the major head center is twofold in structure, and consists of a lotus of ninety-six petals between the eyebrows, and of a twelve-petalled lotus at the top of the head, with ninety-six petals in a subsidiary whorl. The significance of these figures is profound. In every case the figure twelve is met with, showing a definite relation to the basic psychic lotuses on egoic levels. Twelve multiplied by eight stands for the twelve petals in each case, while in the figure eight lies hidden the idea of duality: [TCF860]

1. The four of the quaternary,

2. The four of the egoic auric egg (the three aspects, and the ring-pass-not.)

We must note also, that the idea of twelve in connection with the centers is found in three of them:

1. The higher head center

2. The secondary head center

3. The heart center

If the student studies this condition, and links up the idea of the three tiers of petals in the twelve-petalled lotus, he may find illumination. More it is not possible to give at this stage.

It is only when the etheric centers - the two head centers and the heart center - are fully active with their twelve petals completely unfolded that the central circle of petals in the egoic lotus (the fourth or inner circle) unfolds. The significance of the four circles in the egoic lotus, and the eight circles of twelve petals each in the etheric lotuses on the mental plane is of great importance.

"The Son, the Grand Man of the Heavens. He manifests through the Sun and the seven sacred planets, each of whom embodies one of His seven principles, just as He in His TOTALITY embodies one of the principles of a greater cosmic Entity." [TCF235]

 

Sacred Number: 4th Ray

Dual Cipher "25"
i.e., 25, 250, 2,500, 25,000, 250,000, 250,000,000 years, etc.

The outer layers of the Sun exhibit differential rotation: at the equator the surface rotates once every 25.4 days; near the poles it's as much as 36 days. This odd behavior is due to the fact that the Sun is not a solid body like the Earth. Similar effects are seen in the gas planets. The differential rotation extends considerably down into the interior of the Sun but the core of the Sun rotates as a solid body.

S> Sol's surface rotation is 25.4 days, His precessional cycleis approximately 25,000 years and zodiacal ages rounded off and approximated are 2,500 years and His orbital revolution around the CSS is 250,000 years; again, the "25", the sacred numbers of the 4th great cosmic ray condition all zodiacal ray periods in this 4th order system.

Keep in mind; the blue Logos turns four times around the Central Spiritual Sun (Alcyone) in the time the Greater Bear makes one revolutionary sweep of 1,000,000 years. hence, the ration between the 4th ray and the 1st ray is 4:1. (alpha Number value of Mercury is [41] which shows the ration of 4:1). Hence, in every occult century of the Manu composed of a unit of 100 earth years, the 4th order Hierarchy of planet earth holds four quaterly conclaves. Think this out as the correspondence is exact. (4 quarters in a dollar)

 

4TH RAY COMING "SLOWLY" INTO MANIFESTATION IN 2025 A.D. (2,500 year greater period, or 25,000 yr period not the lesser corresponding active ashramic cycle of 250 years.)

"The fourth ray will come into manifestation before many generations have passed, but only from the angle of its incarnating Monad, and not from the angle of its active Ashram." [EXH582]

 

THE BLUE LOGOS:

THE 4TH ORDER 12 PETALLED ETHERIC HEART CENTER CONSTELLATION OF THE OAWNMBS:

On the second plane are found the seven Heavenly Men, Who are His principal centers of force. There are others, but we are not here concerned with Them. These latter have achieved a certain specific goal, and are the [TCF520] embodiment of centers which are now quiescent or out of manifestation, the logoic kundalini having turned its attention elsewhere. Under another enumeration they make the ten of the esoteric life, and can also be enumerated as twelve, thus forming the twelve-petalled Lotus, or the heart center in the Body of the ONE ABOUT WHOM NOUGHT MAY BE SAID.

On the fourth cosmic ether the buddhic plane, are found the etheric centers of the Logos. There are to be found the esoteric planets and the Sun, viewed as the center of the buddhic principles, and from thence the Logos animates His dense physical manifestation. [Ibid]

DK> "the sun and the planets esoterically are considered as existing in etheric matter."

In the System - The Sun is the sixth principle, buddhi, and its vehicle. (The Dragons of Wisdom taking form on the fourth cosmic ether, our buddhic plane).

They are, therefore, one and all an expression of His love nature, and it is for this reason that buddhi is found at the heart of the tiniest atom, or what we call in this [TCF1226] system, electric fire. For the positive central life of every form is but an expression of cosmic buddhi, and the downpouring of a love which has its source in the Heart of the Solar Logos; this is itself an emanating principle from the ONE ABOVE OUR LOGOS, HE OF WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID.

It is love limiting itself by desire, and for that which is desired. It is love pouring itself out into forms which are stimulated and aided thereby; it is the fulfilment of divine obligations incurred in the dim and distant kalpas which antedate the triplicity of solar systems which we can dimly vision, and it is the "Father of Light" (in a cosmic connotation) pouring Himself out for that which binds Him and which it is His dharma to lift up to His Throne. It is not possible to picture the revelation of the Love of the solar Logos as it reveals itself to the eye of the illuminated seer, nor to show the nature of the cosmic Lord of Sacrifice as He limits Himself in order to save. At each step along the Path, the extent of that love and sacrifice is opened up as the disciple knows himself to be in tiny measure also a Lord of Sacrifice and Love. It can only be appreciated as the two inner rows of egoic petals are unfolded; knowledge would not reveal it, and it is only as a man transcends knowledge, and knows himself to be something non-separative, and inclusive that this particular revelation comes to him.

DK "Those that constitute the ray forces do not come from the twelve constellations of the zodiac, but emanate primarily from a world of being and of consciousness which lies behind our solar system, and which themselves come from the seven constellations which form the body of manifestation of the One About Whom Naught May Be Said. Our solar system is one of these seven constellations." [EPI333]

One hint may here be given. Each of these Paths eventually leads to one or other of the six constellations which (with ours) form the seven centers in the body of the ONE ABOUT WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID. Those adepts therefore who stay for a prescribed length of time upon our planet are a correspondence to those greater initiates who remain for many kalpas within the solar system, taking certain mysterious initiations concerned entirely with solar evolution. Their work is concerned with the system (Blue Logos) as a center (Heart) in the body of that Existence Who vitalizes the Logos of our own system. (OAWNMBS) [TCF1242] [source: Path V. the Ray Path]

Astronomical data:

Megrez is also a straightforward star. Shining toward the fainter end of third magnitude (3.31), this rather ordinary class A (A3) hydrogen-fusing dwarf glows whitely with a temperature of 8630 Kelvin, about half again hotter than our Sun. From its distance of 81 light years, we find a luminosity of 23 solar, from which astronomers calculate a radius double that of the Sun.

UMa MEGREZ, from the Arabic Maghriz adh-Dhanab ad-Dubb al-Akbarm, 'the root of the tail of the greater bear'. A pale yellow star. The Arabic name for Megrez is Al-Maghriz (1), the "Root of the Tail" or "The insertion-point" of the Bear's tail Ursa Major. In China it was Kwan, and Tien Kuen, Heavenly Authority. With the Hindus it may have been Atri (or Atreya, Athri, Attri,) born from brahma's eyes, one of their Seven Rishis. The Vishnu-Dharma said that it ruled the other stars of the Bear. MEGREZ (Delta Ursae Majoris). The faintest star of the Big Dipper, Megrez is in the Dipper's middle, linking the handle to the bowl, and in the bigger picture linking Ursa Major's tail to the Bear's hindquarters. The name appropriately refers not to the Dipper, but to the Bear, and straightforwardly comes from a long Arabic phrase that means the root of the Great Bear's tail. (The Greek letters were assigned from west to east, not in order of brightness.)

Like the middle stars of the Dipper, Megrez is part of the sprawling Ursa Major Cluster, all five moving through space together at about the same distance, Megrez just a half light year farther than the average of the five.

From Megrez, the Dipper's handle stars Alioth and Mizar (as well as Alcor) would be almost aligned, Alioth appearing almost as bright as Venus in our sky. Yet for all its seeming ordinariness, Megrez still tells a tale of how sensitive the stars are to surface temperature and mass. Though Megrez carries only twice the mass of the Sun, it is over 20 times more luminous, the result of higher internal gravitational compression and temperature.

Comparison to the Dipper's brightest star, Alioth, tells a similar story. Though Alioth has only half again the mass of Megrez, it radiates almost five times the luminosity. The comparisons vividly show the effect of the "mass-luminosity" relation that is derived from the masses of double stars. In the middle of the stellar temperature range, the luminosity is sensitive to greater than the third power of the mass. Though Megrez has exactly the same spectral class as Denebola, it is 60 percent more luminous, the result of slightly higher mass and greater age (age slowly brightening these stars). Actual age measurement agrees, by showing Megrez (and the other central Dipper stars) to be about 50 million years old (roughly half way through its hydrogen-fusing lifetime), whereas Denebola is around 20 million years old. Megrez has been searched for a surrounding dusty disk of the kind found around several stars of its class (from which planets might presumably have formed), including Denebola and the Dipper's Merak, but nothing has been found.

Therefore, in context of the inner meaning of the 4th ray word of power, "TWO MERGE INTO ONE" bear in mind:

DK> First, that the Son is the radiant result of the union of Spirit and Matter, and may be considered as the totality of the solar system, the Sun and the seven sacred planets.

Second, that the Son manifests through his qualities of light and heat, as does the solar Sun.

Third, that the Son is the product of the electrical union of "fire by friction" and electric fire, and is Himself "solar fire" or the anifestation of the other two, hence that which is seen and that which is felt.

Finally, that the Son, therefore, is the middle manifestation, and is produced by that which is above, and that which is below, in the occult sense. Therefore, the Son on His own plane (the cosmic mental plane), is the egoic body of the Logos in the same sense as the egoic body of the microcosm is the product of the union of the Monad, or Spirit, and matter. Just as the body egoic of man (that which is called the causal body) is only in process of formation, and is not yet perfected, so we may predicate the same of the solar system, as it expresses the Life of God. It is in process of perfecting. The Son, manifesting through the Sun and its sphere of influence, is yet in a state of gradual development, and not until each cell within His body is fully alive and vibrating to a uniform measure, will He be "full grown" and perfected. Not until His radiation and His display of light is perfectly seen and felt, will His place among the heavenly constellations (the Son of God in a cosmic sense) be fully achieved. [TCF230]

Not until each cell in His body is a sphere of radiant glory - a blaze of fire and light, and a source of magnetic radiation or heat, occultly expressed, will the Son in the Heavens "shine forth." From the cosmic point of view, as we know, our sun is but of the fourth order, and on the lowest cosmic plane. When the Son has, through the Sun, attained full expression (that is, perfected His display of light and heat) then He will shine forth upon another plane, that of the cosmic mental. We have the analogy in the microcosm or man. When a man's light fully shines forth, when his magnetic radiation has reached the stage of vivid interaction or group activity, then he has attained full self-expression, and has included within his sphere of influence and control the mental plane. He is then considered a Master. He also is of the fourth order; he is the quaternary. The etheric plane is the center of his life in the physical sense, just as we are told that the sun and the planets esoterically are considered as existing in etheric matter. As above, so below, is the occult law. Therefore, the relationship of the Son of the Father, and of the Mother, is to the Sun the same as man's relationship to the vehicle through which he functions. It is His mode of enterprise, His vehicle of expression; it is the form which His life animates for the specific purpose of

a. Gaining experience.
b. Making contact.
c. Developing full self-knowledge.
d. Achieving full mastery or control.
e. Attaining "manhood" cosmically. The cosmic Christ must measure up to the stature "of a full grown man," as it is expressed in the Christian Bible.
f. Expanding His consciousness.

All these stages have to be achieved on cosmic levels, in exactly the same sense as the microcosm, on systemic levels, likewise strives for similar ideals

 

DK ON THE 4TH RAY

At this time, the effect of this ray is predominantly of a group nature, and there are - except in the ranks of disciples of the Great White Lodge - no fourth ray souls in incarnation. Once humanity has decided upon the goal and the method of reconstruction and of reorganization which is to take place within the periphery of the fourth ray ring-pass-not, then (if humanity's decision is correct and is not postponed) many fourth ray souls will resume incarnation, and so implement human decision. This will mark a great turning point in human history and will enable seventh ray energy to be turned to the best advantage.

We have now reached a point where the inevitability of Christ's return is established, scientifically and under law; this constitutes a call which He may not deny and one which He must obey. This fourth Ray of Harmony through Conflict works (where the initiatory process is concerned) through the heart, or through what esotericists call "the heart center - the focal point through which the energy of love can flow. When the Christ founds His focal point on Earth, it will be in the nature of a tiny heart center through which the love energy of the Hierarchy can persistently flow. The harmony (which the Principle of Conflict produces) causes an alignment, so that the love - streaming forth from the Heart of God - enters the hearts of men; so that the Hierarchy (which is the heart center or the place where love prevails upon our planet) is brought into relationship with humanity; so that the New Group of World Servers (implementing the love of God and enlightened by the Mind of God) are brought also into relation with the [619] men and women of goodwill in all lands whose task it is to make men's hearts responsive to and receptive of the love of God; this is another way of saying receptive to the consciousness of the Christ.

This alignment is now in process of being made; it will be brought about automatically when the effectiveness of the Principle of Conflict in producing liberation is generally recognized. Thus the hearts of men, the heart of the planet, i.e., the Hierarchy, and the heart of the Hierarchy, the Christ, are in a state of positive contact; when this channel is open and unobstructed, then the Christ will come. Nothing can stop His appearance and - under law - He may not turn His back upon the presented opportunity.

Thus, eventually, the Lord of Love - in response to the invocative cry of humanity, aroused by the Principle of Conflict - must "proceed again to the high place of sacrifice and walk openly with men on Earth." His heart, embodying as it does the love of God, is drawn forth from the heart of the planet (the Hierarchy) to the hearts of men, and the path of His return to Earth service stands unchallenged and unobstructed. Again, under law, a profound optimism is engendered and may be rightly developed.
