The
Great Bear
The emanating
source of the SEVEN RAYS are the seven Rishi/stars of the Great
Bear. ... it behooves us therefore, to make a concentrated academic
and spiritual effort to grasp somewhat the inner mechanics of
the internal star anatomy of the sevenfold system of the 1st ray
Lord of Cosmic Will and Power.
The astronomical
identity of these stars is easy to establish due to clear assignments
and definitions given by Varaha Mihira in his Brihat Samhita (circa
550 AD). Varaaha Mihira in his Brihat-Samhitha, dedicates the
13th chapter to Saptha Rishis.
We have on Vriddha
Garga's authority that in the Northern Sky, the Saptha Rishi's
revolve around Dhruva Nayaka [the Pole
star, Polaris] like a necklace.
From east to west
the saptha muni's Marichi, Vasishtha, Angirasa, Athri,
Pulasthya, Pulaaha and Krathu sit. Chaste Arundhathi
accompanies the rishi sage Vasishtha.
Ray II Vasishta
and Arudhathi (Mizar-Alcor) cannot be seen separately (other than
by those who are far-sighted). Arundhathi's brightness is a fourth
magnitude star and is within 0.2 degrees of Vasishtha, which is
twice as bright.

RAY
I ..... ALKAID
Its mass of six
times that of the Sun renders it both hotter and over 700 times
more luminous. ALKAID....is almost exactly 100 light years away
an exact correspondence to the 1st ray sacred numbers.
It a surface temperature
of about 20,000 degrees Kelvin, is one of the hotter stars that
can be seen with the naked eye, and therefore glows to us a soft
blue-white.
RAY II
..... MIZAR
With a luminosity
12 times that of the Sun, a ALCOR is a rapid spinner (218 kilometers
per second, over 100 times solar). As a result, its atmosphere
is stirred and its composition normal. Alcor's mass is around
1.6 times that of the Sun.
RAY III
..... ALIOTH
A diameter of
four times solar and a mass close to "triple" that of
our Sun. 5.1 DAY STELLAR ROTATION.
Interestingly
and significantly, 3rd Ray "Electrical" Alioth, the
Monadic Prototype of 3rd Ray Earth, has only half again the mass
of Megrez the prototype of Sol, but it radiates almost "FIVE"
times the luminosity. Its magnetic field - and the chemical
composition - change from our perspective during the star's 5.1-day
stellar rotation period. Some elements are highly concentrated
into distinct regions that swing in and out of sight as the star
spins.
For example, the
abundance of oxygen is 100,000 times greater near the magnetic
equator than near the magnetic poles (which are displaced from
the rotational equator and poles); chromium behaves similarly.
Heavier elements, such as the rare earth europium, also display
strong variations.
Though visually
the brightest of the peculiar A stars, Alioth is also noted for
having one of the weakest magnetic fields among its class, only
about 100 times that of the Earth.
RAY IV
..... MEGREZ
Shining toward
the fainter end of third magnitude (3.31), this rather ordinary
class A (A3) hydrogen-fusing dwarf glows whitely with a temperature
of 8630 Kelvin, about half again hotter than our Sun. From its
distance of 81 light years, we find a luminosity of 23 solar,
from which we calculate a radius double that of the our sun, the
Blue Logos.
In other words
the Great Prototype of our solar Logos has a radius double
or "twice" that of His Son.
Though Megrez
carries only twice the mass of our Sun, it is over 20 times more
luminous, the result of higher internal gravitational compression
and temperature. Again, the 2nd ray number appears, "20 times"
more luminous than the sun of our blue Logos.
RAY
V ..... DUBHE
With a luminosity
300 times that of the Sun, Dubhe is the second most luminous of
the seven stars, the luminosity and temperature implying a radius
30 times solar.
Note the numerical
correlations to the 5th ray which is the third as well, counting
up the planes, as DK often reminds
us. As well, the "3" is one of the two sacred numbers
of the 5th ray.
The solar plexus
center is the major center of the 3rd ray, as well, as I explained
earlier in my letter on Dubhe or KRATHU.
RAY
VI ..... MERAK
A luminosity is
seen to be almost 60 times solar, its mass about triple that of
the Sun. Again, we find here a direct correlation to the number
of the 6th ray, " a luminosity "60" times solar.
RAY
VII ..... PHECDA
it radiates 64
times as much energy as the Sun from a surface three times the
solar diameter, from which we infer a mass about 2.7 times solar.
