The Greater 7th Ray

Keynotes:

The great 7th or Violet Ray can be viewed as both destroyer of the form and its regenerator.

The 7th Ray Logos, Uranus, epitomizes the harmony in creation, its unity in diversity (as above so below).

The 7th Ray is the energy needed to bring order out of chaos, and rhythm to replace disorder.

It is this energy which will bring in the new world order for which all men wait; it will restore the ancient landmarks, indicate the new institutions and forms of civilization and culture which human progress demands, and nurture the new life and the new states of consciousness which advanced humanity will increasingly register.

Nothing can arrest this activity; all that is happening today as men search for the new ways, for organized unity and peaceful security, is being implemented through the incoming Ray of Order or Ceremonial Magic. The white magic of right human relations cannot be stopped; it must inevitably demonstrate effectively, because the energy of this seventh ray is present, and the Lord of the Ray is cooperating with the Lord of the World to bring about the needed "reforming."

Outgoing period: 1675 - 5175 A.D.

The prime function of the Lord of the seventh ray is to perform the magical work of blending spirit and matter in order to produce the manifested form through which the life will reveal the glory of the Lord of the World. The Violet Color Light will consequently have a very profound effect upon the physical plane, for not only is this plane coming under its cyclic force, but at all times Uranus as the 7th ray planetary Logos has a special effect upon the etheric.

Hence in the matter of the 7th plane (which is the body of the Raja-Lord, and the host Agnichaitans) certain very definite events are occurring which - though invisible to the ordinary man - are apparent to the eye of the spiritual man or adept. Constructive results transpire in the negative etheric matter of the plane and on the four higher sub-planes. On the lower three a contrary effect is produced, and the energy of the Planetary Logos leads to the destruction of form, preparatory to the building work. The building ever originates on, and proceeds from, etheric levels.

The 7000-year greater movement of the 7th Ray is the precise mathematical rhythm of its spiral cyclic motion concerned with the building of a new civilization, the shifting of the present civilization without its utter destruction from one major expression to another major expression, from the expression of the Sixth or Red Ray of Devotion to the expression of the Violet Ray of Divine Law and Order, or the Divine Order of Man.

The greater 7000-year period of the seventh ray is bringing into expression the devotional vision and, that which constituted the high ideals of the preceding great cycle of sixth ray activity. The 6th ray prepared the way for the 7th ray, and the reason for this numerical sequence in order at this time is dependent upon the Plan of the Lord of the World.

It is not often that two rays follow each other in a regular numerical sequence, such as is now happening, and when it is the case, there eventuates a rapid following of effect upon cause.

The Violet Ray raises not only the evolutionary keynote of humanity as well the vibration of any and every plane. As man becomes spiritualized and raises himself from one plane to another, he raises with himself every atom of matter that belongs to his special planetary center. The higher evolution of the Violet Ray is raising the keynote vibration of the earth so that man may advance another rung of the ladder in the cosmic scale.

There is constant interaction between the Ruler of the earth and the atoms - humanity - that form his body, which are the atoms that make up the physical man. It is impossible for Humanity to raise his own collective individuality without raising the consciousness of the other kingdoms in nature and, in fact, everything connected with him. This extends as far as the human auric circumference, and it affects all planes of manifestation from the physical to the soul plane. Humanity, matter, substance, force are constantly evolving.

In this present period of transition, from out of the 6th Great Age, the Lord of the seventh ray is taking over the control of planetary affairs and the ordered working out of the Plan, so as eventually to restore stability to the planet and give the incoming Aquarian zodiacal influences a stable and extended field in which to work, on both the 2500-year and 25,00-year sweeps of the lesser and the greater "Wheels".

 

1st sub-ray: 1675 - 2175

Paralleling the birth of the Vulcan inspired 1st sub-ray period of the great 7th ray Age began the cycle of radical revolution in the governments of the world. The cycle of liberation, freedom and migration begins in a powerful wave. America comes to birth, the key landmark symbol of the 1st sub-ray period.

A large number of old and powerful 7th ray magicians, psychics and occultists have come back into incarnation. The Violet door has been opened for their return and the dynamically pronounced 1st ray period has produced the rapid growth of recognized psychic and paranormal occult powers among people all over the world. Increased facility in approaching the Path has been demonstrated with Hierarchical opportunity offered to all for accelerated spiritual and Initiatory development. This is based on the fact that so many of existent humanity have already attained in the cycle of previous births the requisite personal knowledge of the ruling powers and forces, are already on the Probationary Path, or are initiates of the first degree or higher.

Under the auspices of the first ray period, three of the great hallmark 7th ray initiates, who opened the door to the 7th Ray radioactive cycle were the two Curries and Millikan. It was they who rendered the first scientific interpretation of the 7th ray type of force or energy. Being themselves seventh ray souls, the Tibetan informs us, they had the necessary psychic equipment and inherent responsiveness to enable them intuitively to recognize their own 7th ray vibration in the 7th or mineral kingdom."

2nd sub-ray: 2175 - 2675

The 2nd sub-ray of the seventh ray will bring to the consciousness of the coming initiates the full concept of group service and sacrifice. It will foster the training and sending forth of groups of initiates, working in close unison with the Plan and with each other. It is they that will flower in "divine service," and present the vision of the giving of the individual in sacrifice and service, within the group and to the group ideal. This will be the goal of the masses of the advanced units while for the rest of humanity brotherhood will be the keynote of their endeavor.

Under the 2nd sub-ray we shall witness the change in the theories of the advanced thinkers of the race into the facts of the educational systems of the period. Education and the growth of the understanding of illumination in all fields will be regarded as synonymous ideals.

 

3rd sub-ray: 2675 - 3175

Astrophysical and astronomical sciences will reach new heights and the essential nature of the universe will be known and seen in new terms of illumined cosmic discoveries. New communication technologies will exist undreamt of today.

The new forms of the global economy of the world federation of nations, based on barter and exchange, without financial motivation, will be instituted and securely in place. Energy will be free to all peoples due to the unlocking of the universal power of the atom, thus, the drudgery of slavery, the era of oil dependence, or fossilized fuels, will be over. The Economy of the One Life will be brought into right planetary adjustment, rhythm and balance.

 

4th sub-ray: 3175 - 3675

The culture, art, music, drama and architecture of the 7th ray civilization will reach great new heights. World cosmopolis building, great city planning, magnificent newly designed cathedrals, city edifices, buildings, stadiums will be built in accordance with divine geometry and sacred mathematics. The new forms of the 7th ray civilization will be glowing, radiant and alive, showing the inner within the outer through the display of warmth, color, sound, music and vibration. New beautiful harmonious art forms, shapes and structures will arise integrated into a healthy natural landscape. A fresh tempo tuned to a new high amplitude of artistic freedom and mode of being will liberate into active expression the leading genius, in all fields, of the 4th sub-ray period.

The principal healing in the field of medicine will be through the new scientific procedures, techniques and methods of bringing together soul and body. The principle focus will be on the 4th etheric sub-plane and etheric vision a common assest to the leading healers of the period.

 

5th sub-ray: 3675 - 4175

Increased mental activity and the spread of education (of the concrete mental kind) everywhere will result in increased competition between units and between groups, the organization of business on lines hitherto undreamt of. The 5th sub-ray will lay the foundation of groups and aggregations of groups whose sole purpose will be to synthesize all the lines of human endeavor, and thus bring about unification of effort, and economy of force in the scientific, business, philosophic, educational, and religious worlds.

Also founded coeval with the 5th ray period will be the schools of medicine along new lines, whose purpose will be to study the vital or etheric body, its relation to the dense physical body, and its function as the receiver, storer, and transmitter of the vital fluids of the system.

The 5th ray science of psychology will carry forward knowledge of the soul with precise scientific comprehension of the constitution of man unknown of today. The methods of all 5th ray schools such as medicine , psychology, healing or education will principally utilize color, sound and vibration.

 

6th sub-ray: 4175 - 4675

The 6th sub-ray under the Lord of Devotion and idealism will convey to man the power to recognize the cosmic Christ, and to produce the scientific religion of Light which will enable man to fulfill the command of the historical Christ to permit his light to shine forth. It will inaugurate that era of scientific understanding of the purpose of Sanat Kumara that will foster the 6th ray inspired religious synthesis. The Church of the New World Religion will be flourishing demonstrating the new idealism through definitely prepared mental forms. It will have for its basis the scientific recognition of the unseen world and its due appreciation and apprehension by means of accurate scientific religious ceremonial.

This ceremonial of the universal church - being founded on the mental unity of all peoples - will not be ceremonial as it is now understood, as it will be the guarded, guided, scientific utilization of sound and color to bring about certain desired ends. Some of these results are the aligning of the Ego, the influencing of groups, the making of contact with the Occult Hierarchy, the cooperation with the devas in order to further the constructive ends of evolution. These and many other effects will follow the utilizing of the scientific comprehension of the constitution of man, the nature of vibration or radioactivity, and the demonstrated reality of the hitherto metaphysical hypothesis and religious dogma of the unseen world of thought and of spiritual existence.

 

7th sub-ray: 4675 - 5175

The 7th sub-ray period of the greater 7th ray cycle will be the most intense and dynamic giving full color and display to the motion and movement of the Lord of the Violet Ray.It will foster the group spirit, and the rhythm of the group, the objectives of the group, and the ritual working of the group will constitute the basic phenomena. By this period of time development of etheric vision will be universal and the scientific recognition of the existence of the etheric levels.

The 7th ray group of scientists connected with electrical manifestation will work out and be permitted to commit to paper in mathematical formula the science of sound with its laws of radioactivity and electrical Phenomena.

The 7th ray "words" or mantrams will be given out and used for the manipulation of matter and its bending into form along the line of motion of the 7th ray Age. It will consequently be known that the utterance of sound along the line of force will both utilize deva activity to affect certain results in connection with the form side of manifestation, and will drive the life within the form to definite action.

 

High water mark: 5175 A.D.

The intensification of the Violet Color Light will continue until A.D. 5175, when there will come a cycle of relative stability and of steady shining without much augmentation. It will then gradually decline in influence for the next 3,500-year ingoing breath period of activity, wrecking the previously built forms on the outgoing cycle prior to rebuilding the new forms on the next out breath period in A.D. 8675.

Through the ceremonial rhythm of the 7th ray Lord the scientific culture of the ritual of world service and the rite of group Initiation will have flowered.

The subordination of the lower life of humanity to the ritual of planetary service will result in the tuning-in of the individual and collective units to the rhythm of the life, heart and mind of Sanat Kumara, the Lord of the World Himself.
