The Lesser Fifth Ray Cycle

350-years

Ray Five: In manifestation since 1775 A.D

Total period: 1775-2125 A.D.

Ingoing period: 3rd (2000-2025)
Outgoing period: 2125 A.D.

“This is the ray of separative force, and its place, as a factor in the erection and destruction of forms, is very interesting.” (TCF 436)

Initially I would like to point out that the Orange Color Light motion of the fifth ray, under special arrangement, has been temporarily “withdrawn” from active planetary manifestation.

The Tibetan states:
"It will pass out (by special and unique arrangement) in another fifty years, thus breaking into its own normal cycle, because it is deemed that the impetus given to the human "spirit of discovery" has served its purpose just now (except through the general pervasive effect of the third ray) might prove disastrous. The ray cycles are usually set and determined, but, in collaboration with each other and because of the imminent spiritual Crisis of Approach, the Lord of the fifth Ray and the Lord of the World have decided temporarily to withdraw this type of force. It will take about fifty years to do this."

The decision of the Lord of the World instituted the process begun in 1950. The 350year racial cycle of the fifth ray began to be pulled out, and, in the interim, continued on the mathematical timetable of its own normal rhythm cycle, which is one of decline, withdrawal and return. This has led to a lessening of the destructive aspects of the fifth type of force at a critical time in human evolution. At that penultimate moment of human destiny, it was deemed necessary to mitigate a potentially highly destructive and dangerous cycle of ingoing and potentially lethal 5th ray lower mental activity.
Let us remind ourselves that c.1950 during the years of the Cold War the world stood on the brink of nuclear annihilation. The period of withdrawal from incarnation took place over a 50year period and occurred during the first and second sub-ray periods of 25 years each on the ingoing period. In other words, since (c.2000) the lesser 350-year cycle of the 5th ray is completely abstracted. Under its normal ingoing cycle we would presently just have entered the destructive and potent duration of its 3rd sub-period (c.2000-2025).

The lesser 350-year cycle of the 5th ray will break back into its normal period of manifestation next century in epoch (c.2125 –2475). At that time, it will begin its 175-year fresh new cycle of seven positive rays, peaking at the apex or crest of its sine wave, in 2300 A.D. The period of danger, uncertainty and lack of trust will be over and humanity will be entrusted with the safe and secure command and control of new powers and labor liberating energy technologies.

It reaches its high water mark or peak emergence half way through its period, 175 years later, in the year 2300 A.D. At that time, 300 years from now, humanity will enter into an enlightened era characterized by a scientific apprehension of the Laws of Being which will make our scientific understanding, at this present time, look positively pre-historic. Mankind will then be trusted with the direction, control and release of new energies and development of powerful new energy technologies. The power of the atom will be free and abundant to all freeing humanity from the slavery of labor for money. Freedom from energy dependence will free humanity to contemplate and apply the laws of the soul and the science of right human relations.

The 5th ray is one of unique and peculiar potency in relation to the human kingdom. The reason is that the fifth plane of mind is the sphere of the major 5th ray activity and it is on the 5th plane that we find the triple aspects of mind:

1. Abstract or higher mind, the embodiment of a higher triad.
2. The concrete or lower mind, the highest aspect of the lower self.
3. The ego or solar Angel, the pure Son of Mind, Who expresses intelligence, both abstractly and concretely, and is the point of unification.

The 5th ray motion has also much power today in connection with the fifth root-race and with the transference of the consciousness of humanity into the fifth or spiritual kingdom. In fact, it is this principal ray force that will enable the world Disciple to take the first initiation.

Students of the seven rays will learn much by contrasting the building power of the higher mind with the destroying power of the lower. Just as the personality has no other function in the divine plan than to be a channel for, and the medium of expression of, the soul, so the lower mind is intended to be the channel for the pure inflow of higher mind energy.

The blazing Orange Light is the revealer of the way, and it should be remembered therefore that this fifth ray reveals the way down into death or into incarnation (which is the death-like prison of the soul), or it reveals the way up and out of darkness into the pure light of God's day.

The Orange color note of the 5th ray is now considerably demonstrating on the fifth sub-plane of all the planes, especially in the three worlds of human endeavor, and as we are here numerically dealing with man we can count from "the bottom up." Therefore, the mental unit on the 3rd or mental plane in this Aryan fifth sub-race is receiving increased stimulation. This ray stimulation is also enabling man to vibrate on the fifth sub-plane that literally is the third sub-plane on the abstract level of the mental plane, on which the causal body is found. The Tibetan, who I am only paraphrasing here, then, goes on to say in TCF that fifth spirilla is consequently becoming active and the electrical force, or the fohatic current, pouring through it, will enable those men who are at the right stage to utilize this force in order to take the first initiation.

Today, since A.D. 1775 under the fifth ray influence, the human intellect has rapidly awakened; instinct has fallen at an accelerated rate of movement below the threshold of human consciousness; kama-manas, or (desire-mind) is no longer the outstanding characteristic of the disciples of the world. The higher expression of the 5th ray is the science of the soul or esoteric psychology. The lower expression is seen in the modern educational systems and all forms of mental science. The lower fifth ray method of teaching truth is the line of modern educational systems and governs all schools of mental training and modern mental science. Through its lower method of teaching truth, the human mind is taught along the lines of analysis and classification because it has no other means at its disposal. Thinking by means of analysis and classification takes time and the process of apprehending reality in this way breaks up the undifferentiated unity into innumerable phenomena.

The 5th ray effects on the astral plane produce n an intelligent conscious control based not so much on the desire for harmony as on a desire for a scientific, intelligent manipulation of astral matter. The orange color force has become more potent on the physical plane producing a great deal of interesting electrical phenomena and availing opportunity of the Manu to separate races, to segregate types, and to detach and separate continents. The 5th ray sounds the note of separative force, and its place, as a factor in the erection and destruction of forms, is very occult and interesting.

“It is interesting to note (though it is of no immediate moment) that the work of destruction initiated by the Hierarchy during the past one hundred and seventy-five years (therefore since the year 1775) has in it the seeds - as yet a very long way from any germination - of the final act of destruction which will take place when the Hierarchy will be so completely fused and blended with Humanity that the hierarchical form will no longer be required. The three [567] major centers will then become the two, and the Hierarchy will disappear and only Shamballa and Humanity will remain, only spirit or life, and substance as an expression of intelligent love will be left. This corresponds to the experience of the individual initiate at the fourth initiation, when the causal body, the soul body, disappears and only the monad and its expression, the personality (a fusion of soul and form) are left. Therefore, my brothers, the closer relation of the Hierarchy to Shamballa, the stimulation of its own interior life, and the readiness of humanity for revelation and for certain unexpected development, will condition the cycle into which we are now entering.” (EXH p. 567)

“In the fifth round, at its middle point, certain things will eventuate. The fifth Hierarchy will rise to its full power. This will precede the Judgment Day, and will mark a point of tremendous struggle, for the manasic vehicle "manas" (which they embody) will rebel against the translation of the life within (the buddhi). There will, therefore, be seen on a racial scale and involving millions simultaneously, a repetition of the selfsame struggle which embroils the man who seeks to transcend mind and to live the life of Spirit. This will be the final Armageddon, the planetary kurukshetra, and will be succeeded by the Judgment Day when the Sons of Manas will be cast out and the Dragons of Wisdom rule. This only means that those in whom the manasic principle is over-potent or underdeveloped will be considered as failures and will have to wait for a more suitable period for development, while those who are living the buddhic life, and in whom it is waxing stronger - spiritual men, aspirants, disciples of various degrees, initiates and adepts - will be left to pursue the natural course of evolution on this scheme.” (TCF706)

Since 1775 the intellect (concrete and abstract, lower and higher) of the World Disciple has steadily unfalteringly unfolded, and as it unfolded, the will, purpose and plan of the Deity clearly took lucid shape and form in men's minds.

The secondary effects of the successful development of the 5th ray power of mind has been the fostering of the power in the minds of men to demonstrate the power to organize, and to work individually with definite purpose.

The power to efficiently organize through groups is demonstrated today by individuals in all diverse and corporate departments of human activity. All of these diverse groups have one thing in common.

Under the Orange Light all evince capacity to sense the Plan of God and to cooperate; individually and collectively they see the broad general outlines of the divine purpose, and comprehend as never before the great evolutionary plan.

The World Disciple is consciously building joyfully now as never before towards the brightly illumined future because he has glimpsed the past and touched the idealism of the spiritual vision.

The 5th Ray initiatory goal today is the fostering of the production of a mental at-one-ment and tuning of the collective units of humanity, thus, giving birth to what we might term group conscious individualism.

The 5th ray has ushered in the civilization of modern times with both good and bad scientific, biological, chemical, genetic, ecological and nuclear results. The era of culture which was the outstanding characteristic of the Victorian age, the great movements which awakened the human consciousness to a recognition of its essential freedom, the reaction against the dogmatism of the Church, the great and wonderful scientific developments of the immediate past, and the present sexual and proletarian revolutions now going on, are the result of the "impulsive" movement into incarnation of the 5th ray souls whose time had come and whose conditioning influence was needed if certain Evil forces and difficulties existing on the planet were to be averted. The bad effects above mentioned are indicative of the difficulties incident to premature development and to the undesirable unfoldments of what we would term evil. It will be apparent therefore, that the needed changes in our civilization were rapidly brought about according to the number of those scientifically oriented human beings who were living as conscious souls in training.

The 5th type of force is the ray of quality, and its effect is to stimulate the acquisition of knowledge and the growth of the human intellect, which is an instrument of exceeding sensitivity, producing increased awareness of God. The higher 5th ray method of teaching truth is the science of the soul and esoteric psychology. The intelligible units of historical study found along the fifth ray path are the great people, landmark discoveries and inventions of science, education, philosophy, psychology and medicine.

Keep in mind; it is the fifth ray Ashram group that has produced what we call science. In science and in advanced 5th ray souls, we find a condition that is rare in the extreme. Science is divisive in its approach to the differing aspects of the divine manifestation we call the world of natural phenomena, but it is non-separative in actuality, for there is little warring between the sciences and little competition between scientists. In this the workers in the scientific field differ profoundly from those of the 6th ray religious.

The fifth ray energy produces three major areas of thought, or three prime conditions wherein the thought-form-making energy expresses itself:

1st: Science - education – medicine
2nd Philosophy
3rd Psychology.

Ray five is the latest of the rays to come into activity and is only in process of "coming forth to power." It is steadily increasing in potency, and the result of its influence will be to guide mankind into increasing knowledge. Its energy beats upon the minds of men at this time and produces that stimulation which lies behind all the scientific approach to truth in all departments of human thought. The racial ray spiral is 350 years in length finding its outgoing peak in 175 years.

The Tibetan has informed us that the fifth racial ray came into physical incarnation in 1775 A.D. The recent historical landmarks that coincide with the numerical configuration of the fifth ray's cycle of emanatory impulses may be easily traced and interested students will profit much in the attempt to historically do so. Keep in mind, the fifth type of force, from out of the seven types, has fostered the production and generation of steam, electric, solar and nuclear power and light in an ever-growing magnitude and luminosity.

A chronological outline of its recent emanatory impulses is historically given below.

Outgoing Orange period: (1775 – 1950)
The 175-year Orange color motion-movement progressed from the invention of high-pressure steam engines to development of nuclear power at the amplitude its 350-year sine wave in 1950 A.D. The outstanding modern expression of this fifth ray energy can be seen in the rapid formulating of the many new scientific discoveries, inventions and ideologies that have taken place.

Such words as Fascism, Communism, National Socialism, Socialism and the names of many schools of science, psychology, medicine and philosophy, were unknown a few centuries ago; today they are the common talk and phrases of the man in the street. The inflow of greatly enhanced mental energy into the world of men, the attainment in consciousness of mental ability by many thousands, and the achievement of mental polarization by aspirants all the world over, are all due to the activity of this fifth ray energy; this phase of the Plan, may be regarded as preparatory work for the first and the second initiations. Much of this of this success is due to the function of this fifth ray energy - that of telepathic interplay. More people now realize in the slightest degree how naturally telepathic every human being is or how impressionable are their minds; this again is an effect of the Orange ray influence.

The cycle of the Orange color brought to bear a more definite influence upon the special group of affiliated 5th ray souls awaiting incarnation, and thus induce them to hasten their entry into the life of the physical plane. This was done, and the scientific civilization of our modern era came into being, with decidedly both good and bad results.

The racial waves of the incoming souls have, through their highly developed understanding and by means of their "self-willed power," frequently wrought havoc and destruction in various directions. However, if we honestly look on we can easily recognize that enormous strides in human knowledge have been made.

These souls, because of their point in evolution, because of their scientific stage in unfoldment and because of their impressibility to the group idea and to the Plan, came into incarnation and began, more or less, to work out that Plan and evoke a response to it in the human consciousness.

Thus, the 5th ray ashram has been the leading group in position to "prepare the way for the return of Christ, indicating a certain new level and attainment of spiritual culture in humanity.

1st sub-ray: (1775 – 1800) Orange/red. V/1
The outstanding scientific achievement, of the fifth ray ashram, tuned to the Vulcan sub-ray period, is the production of steam power. The construction and evolutionary development of efficient high- pressure steam engines began under the first sub-ray. This period marks the commencement of the Industrial Revolution in England. The evolutionary development of the great and powerful steam locomotive is one of the key landmark processes and benchmark symbols of the whole of the outgoing phase of the 5th ray cycle.

After the first sub-ray period of the 5th ray culminated in 1800, scientists could work with electric current, i.e., the Voltaic battery, another landmark symbol of the 1st period. In 1775 James Watts obtains a patent for his version of the steam engine. Pierre-Simon Girard invents a water turbine. David Bushnell invents a hand-operated, one-man submarine, the American Turtle. In 1776 the first two of Watt’s steam engines are installed. John Wilkinson uses a steam engine to create blast air in a blast furnace increasing its performance dramatically; by the end of the century there are 24 blast furnaces in England. Benjamin Franklin introduces bifocal eyeglasses. First experiments with gas lighting were by the English and the Germans. Eli Whitney invents the cotton gin. The Ecole Polytechnique opens in Paris; it produces the scientific elite of France during the early years of the 19th century.

In 1799 the Rosetta stone is discovered by soldiers in Napoleon’s army digging near the Rosetta branch of the Nile. In three different scripts, the Rosetta stone turns out to be the key to unlocking Egyptian hieroglyphics. In 1800 British engineer Richard Trevithick builds the first steam engine to use high-pressure steam.

2nd sub-ray: (1800 –1825) Orange/blue. V/2
The 2nd and the 5th rays are closely related. This period produces an array of breakthroughs, publications and scientific scholars such as, to cite only a few:
John Dalton (1766-1844) the English chemist and physicist who determined the relative weights of atoms, and formulated the atomic theory - that all elements are composed of tiny, identical, and indestructible particles. He also developed Dalton's law of partial pressures - that the total pressure of a mixture of gases equals the sum of the pressures exerted by each gas independently - and found that gases expand as their temperature is raised.
Jean-Baptiste Lamarck (1744-1829) was the French biologist who propagated evolutionary change. He is known for his idea that acquired traits are inheritable. He published 'Zoological Philosophy' in 1809 in which he came up with a reasonable theory of organic evolution. He believed that species could change through time by passing on traits acquired during an individual's life to their offspring.

Pierre-Simon Laplace (1749-1827) the French astronomer and physicist who applied Newtonian theory of gravitation to the entire solar system. He also published works on probability including supplements dealing with the determination of the masses of Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus; triangulation methods in surveying; and problems of geodesy in particular the determination of the meridian of France.

3rd sub-ray: (1800- 1850) Orange/green. V/3
Under the third sub-ray period, in 1831, Michael Faraday of England finds that a moving magnet can induce an electrical current. Another key discovery of this time was that heat was a form of energy. The key landmark process of the Saturn sub-ray period is therefore, the birth of science of thermodynamics with its three principal laws.

In 1861 a key landmark invention is developed, Photography by Daguerre (1789-1851 the French Photographic pioneer. Originally he was a painter in Paris. He was the inventor of the daguerreotype, a photograph produced on a silver-coated copper plate treated with iodine vapor. Around 1826 he - in conjunction with Niepce Nicephore - perfected the photographic process named after him. Until Niepce's death in 1833 they worked together on the photographic process. Daguerre completed the invention of the daguerreotype alone, and in 1839 it was made public and ceded to the Academy of Sciences.

4th sub-ray: 1850 – 1875) Orange/yellow. V/4
The keynote personage and landmark scientific process of the fourth sub-ray period is seen in the lifework of James Clerk Maxwell and his use of mathematics to describe Faraday's work on electricity and magnetism. Under the Mercury sub-ray, Maxwell proved that light and other energy waves are fundamentally the same. In 1843 John Stuart Mill publishes his “A system of Logic”.

The study of heredity-the way in which are passed from one generation to the next-began with an Austrian monk named Gregor Mendel (1822-1884). Mendel spent seven years closely observing how these characteristics were passed from one generation to the next. From his observations Mendel concluded that certain deciding principles or "factors" determine whether a plant’s offspring will be tall or short, wrinkled or smooth. He also discovered that the offspring receives two of each factor, one from each parent. He noted that some factors were dominant over other. Rather then the stronger and weaker traits blending, the dominant factor showed up in the offspring. Today we call Mendel’s "factors" genes. In 1865 Mendel presented his theories but his ideas were not accepted as the brilliant ideas they were. When Mendel dies in 1884, little of his work was remembered.

In 1900, however, three scientists, working independently in three different countries, came to the same conclusions about heredity as Mendel had. These men were Hugo de Vries in the Netherlands, Karl Correns in Germany, and Erich von Tschermak in Austria. Eventually, each scientist credited Mendel as the true discoverer of the principles of heredity. In 1859 Charles Darwin publishes The Origin of the Species and in 1871 he publishes The Descent of Man.

5th sub-ray: 1875 - 1900 A.D.) Orange/orange. V/5
Under the duration of its own numerical period the historian naturally expects to find the most intense demonstration of the 5th ray method and activity. The role of technological inventors and entrepreneurs in industrial development was large in America and many major US industries were founded by inventors such as George Westinghouse, Alexander Graham Bell and George Eastman are all key landmark personages.

One of the key 5th ray historical figures of the time is Thomas Edison, probably the greatest inventor in the history of mankind. Edison's contributions to humanity consist not only in his invention of the phonograph and the electric light but also in his designing of one of the world's first electric power stations.

Nikola Tesla's work is also predominant. His researches brought the alternative current to mankind - among other discoveries - what permitted to enlighten the whole planet, a fact of some importance from the Hierarchical point of view; what was not easy to be done with the continuous current given by Edison's power stations. Another key historical figure is Guglielmo Marconi (1874-1937) the Italian electrical engineer and Nobel laureate. Marconi was the inventor of a workable system of radio telegraphy. In 1895 he had developed an apparatus with which he could send signals to a point a few kilometers away with a directional antenna. In 1901, his wireless trans-Atlantic transmission caused a worldwide sensation, and in 1907 a wireless telegraph service was established for public use.

The passage from electricity to electrons marks highest achievement of the 5th ray under its own 5th period. This is seen or best demonstrated in the work of Wilhelm Konrad Roentgen, J.J. Thompson and Antoine Becquerel from 1895 to 1897. At the end of the 5th ray sub-period of the 5th ray, work with cathode-ray tubes led directly to the discovery of X rays and the electron and indirectly to the discovery of natural radioactivity.

6th sub-ray: (1900 – 1925) Orange/red. V/6
the 6h ray period produced the awakening of the ideologies of Fascism, Communism, National Socialism, Socialism and the names of many schools of science, psychology, medicine and philosophy. Under the inspiration of the ray of Abstract Idealism we find the life of Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) the German Physicist.

Einstein was one of the most creative scientists in human history. He initiated a revolution in scientific thought with his theory of relativity. Its basis was the identification of gravity with inertia. His work provided the theoretical expectation that vast amounts of energy could be released from the nucleus. In 1900 Sigmund Freud publishes “The Interpretation of Dreams.” Pierre de Coubertin, the man who created the modern Olympic games, coins the term sport psychology in his article “The Psychology of Sport”.

In 1901 Sigmund Freud publishes “The Psychopathology of Everyday Life”. In 1907 Carl G. Jung publishes “The Psychology of Dementia Praecox “. Alfred Adler publishes his main work: “A Study of Organic Inferiority and Its Psychical Compensation”. In 1910 Sigmund Freud publishes “The origin and development of psychoanalysis”. In 1911 Carl G. Jung departs from Freudian views and develops his own theories. Max Planck (1858 – 1947) the German Physicist.

Planck was a theoretical physicist, born in Kiel, Germany. He studied at Munich and Berlin where he became professor for theoretical physics. As Planck studied the emission of radiant energy, he discovered that radiation of energy was discontinous which provided the basis for his quantum theory. Planck's concept that radiant energy consists of tiny packets of quanta disagreed with former theorists who had assumed that radiation was a continuous stream of energy with wavelike motion.

The new theory revolutionized physics and in 1918 Max Planck was awarded the Nobel prize. Another landmark figure is Ernest Rutherford (1871-1937) the Physicist, born in New Zealand but did most of his work in Cambridge, England. He investigated radioactivity, and developed the nuclear theory of atomic structure. He introduced much of the language to describe nuclear physics. Particles named and characterized by him include the alpha particle, beta particle and proton. Received the Nobel Prize for chemistry in 1908.

7th sub-ray: 1925 - 1950 A.D.
Niels Bohr (1885 – 1962) the Danish Physicist . Niels Bohr is regarded together with Einstein, Planck and Rutherford as the founder of contemporary physics. Bohr's theory of the atomic structure postulated that the arrangement of the electrons in their orbits must depend on the position of the atom in the periodic table. James Chadwick (1891-1974) the English physicist who worked with Rutherford at Cambridge where they studied the transmutation of elements by bombarding them with alpha particles. Beryllium released an unknown radiation that ejected protons from the nuclei. Chadwick interpreted this radiation as composed of particles without electrical charge - neutrons.

This discovery was an important contribution for atomic disintegration, since neutrons, being electrically uncharged, could penetrate undeflected into the atomic nuleus. Robert J. Oppenheimer (1904-1967) the American physicist who was noted for his contribution relating to quantum theory, the theory of relativity and cosmic rays. 1943-1945 he served as director of the atomic bomb project at Los Alamos resulting in the first nuclear explosion. World War II ended with two nuclear fission bombs (atomic bombs) used as weapons, preceded by a single test in 1945. In 1946 radio astronomy begins in Australia with solar studies by a team led by E.G. Bowen. Martin Ryle discovers the radio source Cygnus A, the first know galaxy to be identified. The first airplane flies at supersonic speed in the USA in 1947.

Outgoing Peak: 1950 A.D.
The 175year high-water mark of the fifth racial ray reached its apogee in 1950 A.D. The peak period of the 5th ray is particularly rich though in all varieties of new technologies beginning in 1951 with color television. New technologies continued to pour forth and changing modern lives in a scientific manner such as solid-state electronics technology in computers, and solid-state devices generally called microprocessors. The most obvious use has been in miniaturizing radios and televisions. But the ubiquitous microprocessor are now even in every automobile and household appliance.

During the 1950s and thereafter, the development of computers took off quickly. The main hardcore improvements were the introduction of the transistor to replace the vacuum tube and the introduction of integrated circuits to replace the circuits made up of discreet components such as transistor, resistors and capacitors.

The high water mark of the 5th ray activity saw a revolution in our understanding of Earth’s crust. The new theory explained such features of Earth as the locations of many earthquakes and volcanoes, of most mountain ranges, and of trenches and rifts on the floor of the ocean. In biology it can be argued that the period made the most dramatic progress of any science after World War II, especially at the level of the behavior of the individual molecules. In the 1950s radio astronomy began to probe the universe, which was found by other means to be about twice the size as previously thought.

By the early 1950s a few scientist from different fronts were tackling the problem of understanding DNA. Linus Pauling, was probably the most advanced chemist of the time. Working with B.B. Corey in 1951, he determined that the structure of a class of proteins is a helix, which is a three-dimensional spiral. This was the first determination of the physical structure of a large biological molecule. Pauling had a Nobel Peace prize in chemistry for his work on chemical bonds and also won a Nobel Peace prize for his opposition to atmospheric nuclear weapons testing.

Ingoing period: 1950-2125
The 5th ray governs the personality aspect of the fourth kingdom in nature, humanity and, being one of the rays determining or conditioning our Aryan race, its present potency is excessive. This is a point to be remembered with care, for it accounts for much that we can see happening in the world today. It is evident that the personality aspect of humanity, under the duration of the ingoing destructive 5th ray cycle of decline could not be trusted with the scientific knowledge and power granted in the prior out breath. The potential for Evil use during the 175-year cycle of decline was deemed to great so the 5th ray began, just after its amplitude period of peak crest, the process of special abstraction.

1st sub-ray: (1950 -1975) Orange/red. V/1
To many people at that time and still today chemistry developed into an enemy instead of a friend as chemists developed new herbicides and pesticides. Problems with cancer among those who worked with the chemicals impinged upon people’s minds. Many feel it necessary to reduce our dependence on such chemicals and new fibers in spite of increased food production and decrease in labor. Chemical technologies and toxic waste disposal remain a major negative affect and problem on the ingoing cycle of decline and complete abstraction of the 5th ray as does nuclear proliferation, plant disaster, waste storage containment etc. Biological, chemical and nuclear weapons technologies twisted and turned to terrorism are the result of the inverted, perverted and distorted use of the 5th type of force.

This is the dangerous and frightening epoch of the Russian and American scientists in the Cold War between the USSR and the USA. The world stood at the brink of its global destruction with the constant threat of nuclear war. In 1952 the first hydrogen bomb is exploded. Col. Nasser seizes power in Egypt in 1954. In 1955 the Warsaw Pact links the Soviet Union and the nations of Eastern Europe into an alliance against the West. The United States explodes its largest Hydrogen bomb at Bikini Atoll in 1956. In the Cuban Revolution of 1956 Fidel Castro landed in Cuba and defeated the regime of Batista. This leads to confrontation with America in the Cuban missile crisis in 1962. The USSR withdraws its missiles from Cuba. Israeli troops invade the Sinai Peninsula in 1956. Winning the initial stage of the Soviet-American “space race,” the USSR launches sputnik the first satellite in 1957.

It is also the period of racial segregation in the USA. In 1955 blacks in Montgomery Alabama boycott the segregated bus lines. This is also the era of the Second Indochina war (1960-1975). The Americans send in advisers then commence with bombing the North Vietnam bases. Over 500,000 American soldiers fight in Vietnam. Thalidomide causes damage in babies in 1962.

2nd sub-ray: (1975 –2000) Orange/blue. V/2
The cycle of decline and destruction on the V/2 ray line begins in 1975 with civil war in Lebanon. Then, in 1976 the Civil war in Algeria begins. The first reports about ozone layer damage from spray can gasses 1976. The first test-tube baby is born in England in 1978. AIDS or Acquired Immune Deficiency is identified in 1981. US and French teams discover aids virus in 1984. Indira Ghandi is assassinated by Sikh bodyguards in 1984. Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster 1986; the fall out effects all of Europe. Thousands of students killed on Tiananmen Square in Peking in 1989. In the field of literature we find the book “Satanic verses” attacked by Moslems. In 1989 Ayatollah Khomeini issues adeath sentence (fatwa) on Salman Rushdie for writing the book .

In 1990 Iraq invades Kuwait and the UN imposes sanctions. In 1991 Operation Desert Storm is undertaken to free Kuwait. In 1993 a huge bomb rocks the US Trade Center building in New York. In 1994 in Africa: genocide in Rwanda’s “killing fields”. Israeli Prime Minister is assassinated in 1995 in Jerusalem. Federal building in Oklahoma in 1995 is destroyed by bomb. In 1999 NATO launches air strikes on Serbia to end attacks on ethnic Albanians living in Kosovo.

A.D. 2000: Almost now completely withdrawn, abstracted and pulled out of incarnation by special arrangement with some lingering negative energetic resonance of the declining 3rd ray period.

3rd sub-ray: (2000 -2025) Orange/green. V/3
The highly negative hard ray V/3 period is producing the Evil and inverted misuse of science technologies for the manufacture and distribution of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons as means of affecting mass social control or revolutionary change, chaos, fear, destruction and disorder. Genetic engineering and the ability to clone animal or human life in the laboratory raise new questions on morality and ethics in science. The rapidly vanishing traces of the 3rd period must be considered fortunate for the safety and security of humanity. Still, the danger seems extreme enough, is pervasive and threatens the security of humanity, in all countries, at present.

Can we imagine then what the situation would be if the negative ingoing operating cycle of the 5th ray would have produced if it had not been adverted through special decree? Behind all of this, in the lower or concrete mind and personality of humanity, run away from itself, is the mass fear and hysteria about the likelihood of WWIII or, what would be worse, this combined in a major global religious war. Nonetheless, the threat of nuclear, chemical and biological warfare and their sale or export to terrorists and rogue regimes remains, at present, a real and present danger. The Evil personalities equally at home in every nation, race and religion have no qualms about the inverted and destructive use of science technologies for the manufacture and sales of weapons to be used for the wholesale slaughter of indiscriminative segments of humanity.

5th sub-ray: (2050–2075) Orange/orange. V/5
6th sub-ray: (2075-2100) Orange/red. V/6
7th sub-ray: (2100–2125) Orange/violet. V/7

Next active 350-year period: 2125-2475 A.D.
Outgoing 175-year outgoing period: 2125-2300

The fifth ray will then, having in the interim continued on the inner planes in its normal precise rhythmic course, begin breaking upon the shores of the three worlds of human endeavor in its 350 year cycle once again in the year 2125 A.D. After running through its seven constructive, positive, building and outgoing sub-rays, it reaches its high water mark or peak emergence half way through its period, 175 years later, in the year 2300 A.D. The Orange color Ray will reach the zenith of its power for the lesser 350-year cycle during its 25-year 5th ray sub-period (c.2225-2250)

During this period the electrical energizing force will pour on to our planet, and will bring about fresh discoveries concerning matter and form, and fresh revelations concerning energy in matter. At the amplitude of the 350-year sine wave, 300 years from now, humanity will enter into an enlightened era characterized by a scientific apprehension of the Laws of Being which will make our scientific understanding, at this present time, look positively pre-historic. Mankind will now be trusted with the direction, control and release of new energies and development of powerful new energy technologies. The power of the atom will be free and abundant to all freeing humanity from the slavery of labor for money. Freedom from energy dependence will free humanity to contemplate and apply the laws of the soul and the science of right human relations.

The orange color light movement will continue without further augmentation and begin its 175-year cycle of inhalation, withdrawal and decline prior to commencing the next exhalation or out breath in 175-years later in 2475 A.D.
